If you are only going to read one of the Inn trilogy books, this is the one to read although the whole series is fantastic.
Hope is drop dead gorgeous inside and out but she has been badly hurt and humiliated. She left the big city to find her perfect happiness with warm friends the perfect job and a life she embraces. She is the manager of the new town Inn. It comes complete with the ghost Lissy who is looking for her man Billy with the help of the whole Montgomery family and Hope.
The characters from the two previous books have big parts in this book as well and the continuem is complete. Ryder the extremely alpha male knows exactly what he wants, what he likes and what he doesn't like. His go to when a woman cries is to send flowers. Always works. He hates tears. Hope rolls with the flow. No high expectations, what is ..just is. Like Owen she is highly organized, and uses lists and technology to organize her day. Ryder carries it all accurately in his head and just knows what to do.
Hope's big city past comes and slaps her in the face and Ryder handles it.He just knows what needs to be done. But does Hope agree? It takes some ghostly interferance to straighten the road to true love sometimes.
The loose strings are all tied up in a package that brings gentle tears. Passion is temperate but heart warming. A very enjoyable read.
