Romance novels, all sub genre's from Erotica to Classics. Give me a HEA or even HFN and it is all good.
I tend to read only new release books. Sometimes I get a bit behind and the book is now a month or two old but hey, so many books, so little time.
If you are from GR, you may know me better as Sunny☼. A happy Canadian.
Valiant is more lion than human. That one feature of this character, makes him lovable in his a unique way. His first instinct is to do ...whatever...the animal way. His human side wants to learn more about the human way but often points out the time wasting of human protocol. He is huge, beautiful and he roars, to the terror of everyone but "his" Tammy.
She has not seen New Species before. She is curious and knows only what the news has told her. Her eyes are opened quickly and Valiant is needed to come to the rescue.
Will he get over his hatred of humans? Will she, being so small, be able to accommodate Valiant in all of his wants and needs? Love this couple. Her open mindedness and his steadfast desire warm your heart to a fresh outlook.
This book was a winner with me. Definitely recommend it.
Hawk, or Cade Delgado is top of the line, controlling, sweet, Badass Commando Alpha man who is conquered by ditsy, blonde, big hearted Cosmo girl Gwendolyn Kidd.
You name it...it happens in this story. Fire, kidnapping, drive by shooting, motorcycle rides, theft, sexy shoes, broken hearts, oh yes...very hot passion.
I loved the controversial opening to the story. Jeese, who wouldn't like a hot guy crawling into bed with you over a year and a half no strings attached, to get on with your life the next day. Come on, be honest here.
The beginning and the ending to this story are excellent and the middle of the story is so fast paced you will need to stop and catch your breath. Loved Ashley's characters as usual. Secondary characters just as appealing and you want to get to know each of them on a much closer basis...Tack...Oh yah, Mitch,,Yep. Best friends..Of course.
An excellent book for the spring off to a new series. Recommended.
This book takes up through the growing relationship of Asher 'Ghost' Collins and Natalie Kovac. She is a prankster and an actress. She does't like the world to know her true feelings. Ghost hides his past and prefers to watch and listen to being an active part, while Nat is front and centre most of the time.
What is love? That is the question each has to answer in their own way. The story moves along at the perfect clip. Slows for you to enjoy the building passion then picks up so quickly your emotions do a turn around. Interest never wanes.
Asher quickly wins your heart. He has the farthest road to walk in finding love. Watching his quantity of smiles increase and his love for Nat build is a joy. A realistic story, with a twist that isn't often seen in books. She can not have children. This information was mentioned in passing in the previous book Friend Zoned so I do not consider it a spoiler. But it is important.
I enjoyed and would recommend the book. I am staying with this series. I love the characters.
All of the emotions are here. Cancer is involved in the story. Yes even a child is present. Sorry no animals but all other boxes are ticked. It works.
A heart warming story of a young widow and her trip back into the dating circle. The questions, emotions feelings she has, through careful tender description, are ones I know I would be experiencing in the same circumstances. Red headed Clare Murray and her mostly absent daughter are a tight unit.
Dr. Logan Matthews has a new arm candy often, at least recently. He is a divorcee. Love at first sight however, at least for one of them, in the emergency ward of the hospital blossoms.
As the relationship builds the passion is hot, the chemistry right on. There is however one huge hurdle to cross that does not come up until the end of the book. It impact is memorable and the story goes out with a bang. I am looking forward to the next book in the series that promises to be the opposite of this book in every way but just as hot.
Refreshing to read. He is not a peer. She is a ton reject. He will inherit nothing..after all, he came from the wrong side of the blanket.
Lloyd Fellows is the by blow of Lord Mackenzie and half brother to all of the other Mackenzie. When his is working for Scotland Yard, he gets it right every time.
Lady Louisa Scranton, the untouchable love of his life, is a murder suspect. In fact for the ton she is THE murder suspect. Can Fellows help her when she needs him most?
The murder mystery is not predictable and a fun part of the story. The passion, well let's put it this way. If I flicked my bic several times I would have trouble coming up with one flame. The story however makes me forget that part. The love is consuming and he is an alpha. The story also introduces the next Mackenzie to feature in a book, Daniel. Love that guy and can't wait to read his book coming out in a few weeks.
Want a mystery with a touch of aggressive passionate woman and stand offish man? Read this.
Yes, I was surprised it was the first book in a new series also. I discovered this after reading the whole book and glancing through the other series Ashley has out there. There it was, right under Colorado Mountains, Colorado Plains with this listed as the first book.
I loved it. It made sense. Gray is a winner and Ivey pretty darn fine also. Why the half star? I had a bit of initial trouble getting used to biker talk coming out of a cowboy's mouth....Gettin' me Babe?
Gray is the local very hot, in demand stud with principles. Ivey, well Ivey has no past or future that she wants to think about just this place and right now. She knows her way around a pool cue and knows how to work it. Later in the story we find she has many assets of note.
Ivey's sweetness and naivety bring her into your heart. Gray's tough side is just what she needs and his positive outlook on life opens her world. The Hawt scenes are hot. The characters are first rate. The book is well thought out but a bit predictable now and then. Yet another Ashley series I will be following.
