Talia and Jack have been introduced in the two preceeding books in this series. It was nice to finally get to know them. If you have been reading this series than this book is a must read. Many threads have been tied up. The reason I gave it only a three star was that it was a little too gruesome for me. The heroine a little too troubled. She had every right to be troubled and it was good writing and handled well. It was my stomach not the books weakness. Jack is a true strong silent loving hero who enjoys helping in the background without a lot of fuss being made. Talia is an "injured bird" trying to put her life back together. In the end, after a surprise deadly complication, they both finally see the love they have had all along. Sister Rosie, has also been mentioned in other stories. She has a fairly big part in this book.
