James deals with several difficult issues in this book but you would never know it by the ease with which it all unfolds. Gavin (McKay) Daniels and Rielle Wetzler are mature each with a grown daughter. Parent issues are with young women finding a way in life. The issue of young pregnancy is dealt with in several different ways and presented through the eyes of the MacKays. It was well done even though I didn't agree with some of the thoughts presented. But because everyone handles things in their own way, the thoughts had to be repected as theirs and then accepted. In fact it was the only way it would work with the ongoing McKay story line.
Yes James did not let me down. The story was very hot. The age of the hero and heroine was not an issue. The building love was based on childhood principles of the correct era of their youth and the issues they contended with were age appropriate. This story was well thought out, passionate and not without a bucket of angst. A different but very good McKay addition.
