The story of Lady Margaret Reading estranged from her husband,Godric St. John's for more than two years. She had a forced marriage thanks to her brother but she still morned the loss of both her lover and his baby. St. John's is basically a walking zombie still morning his long dead with and waiting for his own death as he confronts danger many a night as the Ghost of St. Giles.
Time heals, life wins, love conquers. The story was a bit slow to start, but once it did there was no stopping the building angst, building passion and the building family ties. Well written and a whole lot of fun..A taste of Spring's new life in so many ways.
